Design

The Super Two-Stroke tm (S2S) is a newly invented piston and head design that employs technologies demonstrated to achieve low emissions and high efficiency, combined into an inexpensive package. The unique and enabling feature of the S2S is a piston that creates three working chambers, upper (FIG. A number 1), middle (FIG. A number 2) and lower (FIG. A number 3) in one cylinder. The lower chamber between the head and piston crown is of course, the combustion chamber (3). The middle chamber (2) above the head, connects to the combustion chamber by passages in the piston uprights, providing scavenge air when the passages move below the head. The upper chamber (1) provides additional air for pneumatic fuel delivery and supercharging.
